E-Learning-Förderpreis 2020
Am 7. Februar 2020 bekam Dr. Heiko Winter als einer von zwei PreisträgerInnen den E-Learning-Förderpreis 2020 für sein Lehrprojekt "LignoPort - Verknüpfung von Lignocellulose und Portfolioarbeit" in der Lehrveranstaltung "Structure and Conversion of Lignocellulose" (M.Sc. Umweltwissenschaften / Environmental Sciences, Profillinie "Biomaterials and Bioenergy") verliehen.
Two doctoral dissertations defended
On Nov. 19th 2019, Robert Gleuwitz and Jamerson Carneiro de Oliveira defended their doctoral dissertations on blends of hydroxypropyl cellulose / lignin and on Diels-Alter chemistry with cellulose nanocrystals, respectively.
Anna Fichtner defends her doctoral dissertation
On January 17th 2018, Anna Fichtner successfully defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "Extraction Studies of Suberin from Bark and Synthesis of Lignin Isocyanate-Free Polyurethanes: Byproducts of the Beech Wood Industry" at the Faculty for Chemistry and Pharmacy.
Julius Ratumo Toeri defends his doctoral dissertation
On November 16th 2017, Julius R. Toeri successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Novel Chitosan Membranes for Removal of Heavy Metals from Wastewater" and was awarded a doctoral degree (Dr. rer. nat.).
Tiago von Lossau defends his doctoral dissertation
June 9 2017, Tiago von Lossau successfuly defended his doctoral thesis on new biomaterials from oat spelts polysaccharides.
